The Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC) has been awarded two prestigious prizes in the “Government Services” category at the “International Finance Awards 2025,” organized by the reputable international media organization “International Finance” based in the United Kingdom.
The Center was recognized as the “Best Government-Affiliated Think Tank and Research Institution” and “Best Public Engagement Platform for Economic Reforms.”
These awards reflect international recognition of CAERC’s multifaceted work in public administration, promotion of economic reforms, and enhancement of public participation.
CAERC also functions as a scientific research and analytical institution. The Center develops research projects, analytical reports, and academic papers in the areas of economic policy analysis, macroeconomic modeling, fiscal stability, digital economy, green finance, and AI-based governance. CAERC’s publication, “Economic Reforms: Scientific and Analytical Journal,” is published on international open-access scientific platforms and has become a key reference for studying Azerbaijan’s economic model in the global academic community.
Furthermore, the Center is recognized as a leading think tank collaborating with international organizations, jointly producing research, training programs, policy papers, and strategic reports within this framework. These collaborations have strengthened CAERC’s status as a reputable research center facilitating knowledge exchange on sustainable economic development, digital governance, AI, and innovation policies at regional and global levels.
The evaluation committee noted that smart data management platforms developed by CAERC ensure transparent and efficient monitoring of government programs while enabling civil society and business stakeholders to engage with economic reforms in real time.
CAERC’s initiatives in this area play a leading role in the advancement of digital governance, evidence-based policy planning, and AI-driven management model in Azerbaijan. Receiving these awards reaffirms the Center’s position as a leading research and analytical institution within the global technological governance and economic reform ecosystem.
This achievement demonstrates that the smart, sustainable, and adaptive governance model developed by CAERC has become an innovative framework applicable both nationally and internationally, confirming Azerbaijan’s status as a leading regional example in AI-based governance.
These high-level international awards for Azerbaijan’s government technologies (GovTech) are regarded as another global endorsement of President Ilham Aliyev’s successful policies in economic reforms, including program management and results-based budgeting. The governance model developed under the President’s initiative and leadership serves as a global example.
