The Atlas Research Center was founded in Baku in 2003 by political experts. The head of the center is a political scientist, Elkhan Shahinoglu. The “Atlas” research center analyses the main events in Azerbaijan and the South Caucasus. One of the main topics of study is Karabakh. In addition, the Research Center “Atlas” studies relations between Azerbaijan and neighboring countries – Russia, Turkey, Iran, Georgia, and Armenia. The Centre cooperates with political experts in neighboring countries and prepares analyses based on information received.
