Agricultural Research Center under the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Azerbaijan established on the basis of the Research Institute of Agricultural Economics acting since 1962.
Research Institute of Agricultural Economics under the Ministry of Agriculture reorganized as Agricultural Research Center within the status of public legal entity according to the decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev dated 22.05.2018.
Our mission is forming of agro database, carrying out analysis, evaluation and forecasting, and preparation of recommendations for agricultural policy, programs, projects and innovative development mechanisms.
The objective of this institutional reform is to re-shape the research institute with almost 60 years history into a “Think Tank” that provides analytic framework and necessary scientific studies in order to meet the requirements of modern phase of agricultural reforms carried out and to improve agricultural politics on the basis of global challenges.
Currently, the creation process of Agricultural Research Center continues based on new mission, new principles of affairs, new positions, innovative methods, and modern technologies.
