The Institute for Development and Diplomacy (IDD) at ADA University is pleased to announce the publication of the Winter 2024-2025 edition of Baku Dialogues, the flagship quarterly policy journal of the Institute for Development and Diplomacy at ADA University.<\/p>\n
We wish to highlight three contributions by members of the broader ADA community: a feature length interview with COP29 CEO, Deputy Energy Minister, IDD Trustee\u2014and a former SPIA Dean\u2014Dr. Elnur Soltanov on the achievements of COP29, plus essays by ADA Vice Rector and IDD Director Dr. Fariz Ismailzade (on training diplomats) and Adjunct Professor Dr. Vasif Huseynov (on Azerbaijan\u2019s quest for a \u201cthird path\u201d in foreign policy).<\/p>\n
Also featured in this edition of Baku Dialogues are essays by renowned experts in their respective fields: Velina Tchakarova on the geopolitics of corridors; Feng Yujun on China\u2019s view of Russian ambitions and capabilities in the Silk Road region; Steve Blank\u2019s analysis on America\u2019s interest in the Silk Road region; Rick Fawn\u2019s overview of Azerbaijan\u2019s engagement with NATO\u2019s PfP; and Steve Hill\u2019s Top Ten \u201cTo-Do\u201d list for the public and private sectors to achieve what he calls \u201cminimum viable cyber resilience.\u201d<\/p>\n
